Continental Automated Buildings Association

The Continental Automated Buildings Association (CABA) is an international not-for-profit industry association dedicated to the advancement of integrated technologies for homes and buildings.

The organization was founded in 1988 and is supported by an international membership of over 300 organizations involved in the design, manufacture, installation and retailing of products relating to home and building automation.

Educational Institutions and public organizations, including utilities and government organizations are also members. CABA agnostically encourages the development of industry standards and protocols, and leads cross-industry initiatives.

CABA’s mandate also includes providing its members and the industry with the largest ÒInternet of Things, Connected Homes, M2M and Intelligent BuildingsÓ research library in the world.

CABA’s collaborative research scope has evolved and expanded into the CABA Research Program, which is directed by the CABA Board of Directors. Further, CABA provides the industry with marketing and networking opportunities through events, such as the “CABA Intelligent Buildings & Digital Home Forum.
